10 Ways a craps dealer can spot a loserEmail This Tip
1. Player does not take odds on his Pass Line bet after establishing a point, but makes a wager ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE TABLE.

2. Player makes a minimum wager on Pass Line or Don’t Pass Line and wins and then makes another minimum wager. (Grinder)

3. Player makes a wager on Pass Line or Don’t Pass Line, looses and then “Doubles Up” and continues to “Double Up” (Chases flat bets).

4. Players that think they are insuring their bet by making wagers on Pass Line and any proposition bet.

5. Any player who makes a wager on The Big Red 7.

6. Any player who places a bet over $10 on the Corner 6 or 8.

7. Any player who places a bet on Hardways 4 and/or 10.

8. Any player who places a wager on the Pass Line after a point has already been established (sometimes this is an accident as many hurried players make this wager without checking the “Puck” to see that a point has already been established). Good dealers will inform the player that he is wagering on a specific Point (a subtle way of telling them that they are not making an intelligent wager).

9. Any player who does not “Go Behind” or “Take” the Don’t 6 and/or 8.

10. Any proposition player or Field Player who plays on a table with “Strip” odds on the 2,3,11 and 12 or Field where 2 and 12 BOTH only pay 2 to 1.

And as a bonus… Any player who wagers a Place Bet on 5,9,4 and 10 but does not wager a Place Bet on the 6 and 8 is almost always destined to failure.
